The Importance Of The SHSAT

Every year, approximately 27,000 New York City 8th & 9th graders take the SHSAT to gain admission to one of the NYC Specialized High Schools. These include Stuyvesant H.S., Bronx H.S. of Science, and Brooklyn Technical H.S. Only 2,500 students are accepted in total to the original three.

The Core SHSAT Program with rolling admission available online and in-person. We’ve digitized our entire signature pre-SHSAT curriculum, which includes all Common Core materials to get ready for Grade 7 and the SHSAT.

Classes per Week

Our 9th grade SHSAT program is scheduled for weekends and will meet twice a week, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays. Students can expect to attend classes on both days to prepare for the SHSAT exam.

Hour Class

During our SHSAT Program, students attend classes for a total of 4-hours of group class a week. Our 4-hour classes are small and interactive with intense levels of practice and individualized attention, ensuring that your child is using the summer to solidify their understanding of the material.

The SHSAT Program includes one signature diagnostic exam every month and all work digitized for your convenience. We track your student’s progress with respect to mastering the material.
