Arif Mohammed SHSAT Scholarship

Over the past 30 years, Khan’s Tutorial has helped over 4,725+ students gain acceptance into NYC’s prestigious Specialized High Schools.

The Arif Mohammed SHSAT Scholarship was created in honor of Arif Mohammed, who was a beloved member of the Khan’s community. As a previous student of Khan’s Tutorial, and an alumnus of Brooklyn Technical High School, Arif was an active and exemplary member of his community.

Arif had been a cherished member of the Khan’s Tutorial family since 2017, navigating his middle school years while diligently preparing for a coveted seat at the esteemed Brooklyn Technical High School. Arif aspired to become a software engineer. He had earned a full scholarship to attend Northeastern University’s Mills College in Oakland, CA. Beyond his academic pursuits, he dedicated his time to his school’s MSA (Muslim Students Association) and served as a tutor in his community.
