Future World Vision: STEM Pathways Program

The Future World Vision STEM Pathways Program is a joint initiative of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation, and Brooklyn Technical High School. The program introduces middle school students from seven consortium middle schools to the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Through biannual Future World Vision STEM Pathways events hosted at Brooklyn Tech, students, families, and faculty engage in hands‑on STEM learning experiences led by Brooklyn Tech faculty and student teaching assistants. Throughout the academic year, participants explore STEM concepts and activities designed to enrich and extend their school curriculum.

By working collaboratively with Brooklyn middle schools, the program aims to inspire students to consider STEM‑focused high schools and future careers in engineering and technology. The long‑term vision is to serve as a national model for STEM pipeline development and to help shape the next generation of innovators and problem‑solvers.
