Khan’s Tutorial hosts Annual Holiday Party for Instructors, Managers, & Directors

Earlier this week Khan’s Tutorial hosted its Annual Holiday Party for all teammates across its 11 locations. This past year, the KT team has grown to over 300 total employees and has helped thousands of families across NYC. With the support of its talented team, KT has reached new heights and continues to grow.

Khan’s Tutorial Hosts Dinner for Dedicated KT SHSAT Instructors to Celebrate Year of Hard Work & Success

New York, NY – Earlier this month, Khan’s Tutorial hosted a dinner for Instructors in their renowned SHSAT Program. Last year a record breaking 398 students gained acceptance to the Specialized High Schools through KT’s program. Khan’s Tutorial’s Instructors have work tirelessly with students to tackle the new SHSAT through weekly classes, workshops, boot camp sessions, and study hall. Additionally, Instructors conduct mandatory Parent Teacher Conferences to update families on students’ progress and enforce productive study habits at home. The dinner celebrated the hard work of over 40 KT SHSAT Instructors who worked with students over the last year.

Khan’s Tutorial celebrates 720 Perfect Scoring Common Core students and 373 High Scoring Regents & SAT students at the Khan’s Tutorial Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony

New York, NY – On Sunday, November 12, Khan’s Tutorial (KT) hosted its fourth Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony at the Colden Auditorium at Queens College. Khan’s Tutorial celebrated students in their Common Core Program who received single 4s and double 4s on their ELA and Math Common Core Citywide/Statewide Exams. Khan’s also celebrated students in their High School Achievement Program who achieved exceptional scores on their SAT & Regents Exams.

October 24, 2017 – New York, New York – Last week, Khan’s Tutorial CEO & President Dr. Ivan Khan obtained a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia University Business School’s Executive Education program. The certificate program was inspired by Columbia Business School’s world-renowned MBA program, covering the full spectrum of critical business subjects with a specific focus on developing leadership abilities.

Khan’s Tutorial Breaks Record with over 627 Students Scoring 4/4 on Spring 2017 Common Core Exams

October 24, 2017 – New York, New York – This past weekend Khan’s Tutorial Common Core students and their parents celebrated Perfect Score Weekend. Families visited Khan’s Tutorials 10 locations to celebrate their students who recently received the results for their Spring 2017 Common Core Statewide/Citywide Exams. This year, Khan’s Tutorial broke last year’s record of 537 with over 627 students scoring a single 4/4 or double 4/4. A score of 4/4 means that these students met and excelled beyond the standards set for elementary and junior high school students. On Sunday, November 12th, all high scoring Common Core, SAT, & Regents students will be celebrating at Khan’s Tutorial’s Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony at the Colden Auditorium at Queens College.

Khan’s Tutorial Invites High Scoring Common Core, SAT, & Regents Students to Perfect Score Weekend

October 11, 2017 – New York, New York – Khan’s Tutorial will be celebrating the success of their students during Perfect Score Weekend next week from October 21-22. Students who received perfect scores on this year’s Common Core Exams or SAT & Regents students who scored highly on their exams will be invited to pick up invitations to Khan’s Tutorial’s Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony. The annual ceremony will be held at the Colden Auditorium at Queens College on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

New York, NY – September 20, 2017 –Khan’s Tutorial Chairperson Mrs. Nayeema Khan and CEO & President Dr. Ivan Khan were recently invited to the United Nations’ Peace Culture & Health Forum – President & First Lady’s Formal Awards Ceremony – at the United Nations Head Quarters. Yiling Li, President of UNESCO Association of New York, honored Mrs. Nayeema Khan with the Outstanding Contribution to Education Award for her leadership at Khan’s Tutorial.

Khan’s Tutorial 2017 SHSAT Acceptance Total Reaches 397 through the Discovery Program

Khan’s Tutorial would like to congratulate three KT SHSAT students who recently gained acceptance to a Specialized High School through the Discovery Program.

The recently expanded Discovery Program allows students who miss the cut off score for a Specialized High School to gain acceptance through a summer program. Students must have missed the score within a certain range and meet specific eligibility requirements, such as low-income status.Essentially, it is a second opportunity for students who did not gain acceptance the first time.
