Hundreds of families submit their Common Core Exam scores in anticipation of Khan’s Tutorial’s Annual Awards Ceremony taking place at the Colden Auditorium at Queens College on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
October 4, 2017 – New York, New York – This week Khan’s Tutorial celebrated the success of their Common Core Program students who recently received the results for their Spring 2017 Common Core Statewide/Citywide Exams. This year, Khan’s Tutorial broke last year’s record of 537 with 600 students scoring a single 4/4 or double 4/4. A score of 4/4 means that these students met and excelled beyond the standards set for elementary and junior high school students. On Sunday, November 12th, all high scoring Common Core, SAT, & Regents students will be celebrating at Khan’s Tutorial’s Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony at the Colden Auditorium at Queens College.
“I am very happy to see our hard working students return to Khan’s with the amazing news of their perfect scores. Our team, our students, and of course the parents put in so much time and effort. It’s very rewarding to finally see the amazing results. We look forward to celebrating with these dedicated families at our awards ceremony next month,” said Mrs. Nayeema Khan, Khan’s Tutorial Chairperson.
“I’m happy to see the scores reflect the growth of our program as well as the development of our staff. Breaking 600 perfect Common Core scores would not be possible without The Common Core Team. Our talented Instructors, Fellows, and Managers have played a huge role in our program’s success,” said Director of Common Core, Nadia Hossain.
