October 11, 2017 – New York, New York – Khan’s Tutorial will be celebrating the success of their students during Perfect Score Weekend next week from October 21-22. Students who received perfect scores on this year’s Common Core Exams or SAT & Regents students who scored highly on their exams will be invited to pick up invitations to Khan’s Tutorial’s Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony. The annual ceremony will be held at the Colden Auditorium at Queens College on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

This year, Khan’s Tutorial broke last year’s record of 537 with over 600 Common Core students scoring a single 4/4 or double 4/4. A score of 4/4 means that these students met and excelled beyond the standards set for elementary and junior high school students. For the Khan’s Tutorial High School Achievement Progam, 106 studens scored a 1300 or higher on their SATs and 253 students attained a 90 or above on one or more of their Regents exams. More stellar results are expected to come in within the next few weeks.

“The November Achievement Awards is the biggest celebration of the year for all Khan’s Common Core, SAT & Regents families. This year we look forward to hosting the event at Colden Auditorium at Queens College given the fact that it can hold over 2,000 people. In turn, we will be able to honor even more students and their close family members than ever before. So far we have over 600 perfect Common Core scores and we anticipate that number to grow in the final week before we finish collecting scores.” said Dr. Ivan Khan CEO & President of Khan’s Tutorial.

With 10 locations in the outer boroughs of New York City, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and in the Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Astoria, Ozone Park, and Floral Park neighborhoods of Queens, Khan’s Tutorial primarily serves in assisting families in low-income, new immigrant neighborhoods.
