Khan’s Tutorial announced the grand opening of their newest location, which will be serving the community of Richmond Hill. Located on 191-15 Liberty Ave, this will mark Khan’s Tutorial’s tenth location opened in the outer boroughs of New York City.

CEO Dr. Ivan Khan and Executive Vice President Mrs. Nayeema Khan will be presiding over the opening, as well as the Khan’s Tutorial senior team. They will be joined by the Bangladesh Consul General in New York, the Honorable MD. Shameem Ahsan. To celebrate the opening, Khan’s Tutorial will be offering two free classes for all new students that enroll in the Richmond Hill Location.

The new branch will offer Khan’s Tutorial’s full complement of services, including preparation for the upcoming Specialized Science High School Admissions Test (SHSAT), preparation for the Common Core exams offered to elementary/middle school students, as well as SAT, Regents, AP, and college access preparation for high school students.

Ms. Rana Lamisa will be serving as the new Director of the Richmond Hill branch, and Ms. Lisa Puran will be the location’s Senior Manager. Both Ms. Lamisa and Ms. Puran have previously served as Senior Managers at Khan’s, respectively at the Astoria and Sutphin branches. They will be joined by a full team of veteran Khan’s staff who will begin teaching classes this weekend.

Operating since 1994, Khan’s Tutorial’s mission has been to bring quality education at affordable costs. With locations in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Astoria, Ozone Park, and Floral Park, Khan’s Tutorial primarily serves in assisting families in low-income neighborhoods.
