Khan’s Tutorial Hosts Grand Opening for Brand New SAT & Regents Location in Jackson Heights

New York, NY – February 16, 2018, This weekend students and parents gathered at Khan’s Tutorial’s brand new SAT & Regents location Jackson Heights. The new expansion facility will house Khan’s High School Achievement Program students preparing for the SATs, SAT IIs,  ACTs, and Regents Examinations. In the past two years, Khan’s Tutorial’s High School Achievement Program has helped over 239 students score 1300+ on the SAT on their way to some of the top colleges and universities in the nation. As Khan’s Tutorial enters its third decade, it aims to increase student scores and educate for life by giving back to the community. Khan’s Tutorial is currently offering FOUR FREE SAT/Regents classes at the new Jackson Heights SAT & Regents Location for all KT SHSAT Alum. With the limited number of seats, families are urged to sign up and take advantage. Limited time offer. Classes must be completed by Sunday, March 17, 2019.

The grand opening event was attended by community members, press members, and a representative from the office of Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz.

Our new location will be led by Ryan Biswas as our High School Achievement Program Manager and Jenefar Ali as our Senior Manager.” said Dr. Ivan Khan, President and CEO of Khan’s Tutorial.

With 11 locations in the outer boroughs of New York City, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and in the Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Astoria, Sunnyside, Ozone Park, and Floral Park neighborhoods of Queens, Khan’s Tutorial primarily serves in assisting families in low-income, new immigrant neighborhoods. Over 2,972 students have gained admission to New York City’s Specialized High Schools through Khan’s Tutorial since its inception in 1994.
