New York, NY – March 15th, 2023 – On Thursday, March 9th, 2023, results were released for the Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT), the sole factor in admission to New York City’s Specialized High Schools. This year, we are proud to announce that 100+ Khan’s Tutorial students have been accepted to New York City’s Specialized High Schools.
Since the March 9th release, the highest score reported at Khan’s Tutorial was 623, scored by Richi M.
Michelle K, who scored a 586 and received an offer to Stuyvesant High School says, “Here at Khans, I was able to have a large amount of help that helped me to get into Stuyvesant High School. The teachers were extremely nice, but honest about the work they see in their students. There were also a large number of benchmarks that helped me to see where I needed to improve on.”
Khan’s Tutorial will continue calling back families this week to retrieve the rest of the scores.
Dr. Ivan Khan, CEO of Khan’s Tutorial, says “On behalf of our Chairperson, Nayeema Khan, and our entire staff, we send a hearty congratulations to every student and parent that have worked so hard to receive an offer from a Specialized High School. With nearly 800 acceptances since 2020, and 4600 acceptances since 1994, our 7th grade students took workshops, bootcamps and used our Khan’s SHSAT material for their practice.
