Khan’s Tutorial Opens NEW Location, KT NYC

Dr. Ivan Khan, Tasneem Khan MPH, and Mrs. Nayeema Khan meeting with the Bangladesh Consulate Dr. Mohammad Monirul Islam in Khan's Tutorial NYC.

KT NYC will open to provide SAT & SHSAT classes.

New York, NY – October 12, 2022 – This past Saturday October 8th, Khan’s Tutorial saw an extraordinarily successful grand opening ceremony for the new Khan’s Tutorial NYC branch located at 14 West 23rd street in the Flatiron District of Manhattan.

The event, which took place from 2-3PM saw an out-pour of support with over 30 attendees that included current and past Khan’s students, parents, teammates, and the Honorable Consulate General of Bangladesh, Dr. Monirul Islam.

Dr. Monirul Islam gave a short speech at the top of the hour:

>
I would like to pay my deepest respects to the founder of this institution, Dr. Mansur Khan. Dr. Mansur Khan’s vision was to set up the institution to build up the Bangladeshi community into a knowledge based society. Not only will Khan’s students become leaders in the Bangladeshi community, they are becoming leaders around the world. Khan’s Tutorial is an architect for leadership in our community.

It was a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony with words from Dr. Ivan Khan, Tasneem Khan MPH, and Mrs. Nayeema Khan, all speaking on the formation and journey that Khan’s Tutorial has been on since 1994. They along with others also spoke of the late, great founder Dr. Mansur Khan.

Refreshments and food were served from their friends and neighbors: Krispy Kreme, Wafles & Dinges, and Chanson Bakery.

When Khan’s opened back up in person earlier this year in Jackson Heights, there were many rave reviews and the team hopes to excel and continue their service in NYC.

I’ve been a student here since elementary, did common core, SHSAT and SAT and my experience here has been pleasant overall. There’s an abundance of incredibly talented and brilliant peers to learn from, banter with and develop academic habits and socials skills around

Since Dr. Mansur Khan opened this place and many others, our families have benefited a lot and his son, Dr. Ivan Khan has control. This is a very good place for our community. They’re helping our community get into the top schools and colleges across NYC and the United States.
