“It is very humbling to experience the start of Khan’s Tutorial‘s 25th anniversary. Our journey included many members of the New York City Bangladeshi community, particularly press media and community leaders. As many people know, we strive to deliver the highest quality education at the lowest prices for all New Yorkers. This upcoming year we look forward to more students receiving perfect scores in their Common Core State Wide exams, getting offers to a Specialized High School, and more receiving a score above a 1400 on the SAT. Lastly I’d like to take a moment to remember our founder, my father, the late Dr. Mansur Khan. It was his vision that allowed us to start our work at Khan’s Tutorial and it is that very same legacy we hope to create for the overall New York City Bangladeshi community,” said Dr. Ivan Khan, CEO & President of Khan’s Tutorial.

With 11 locations in the outer boroughs of New York City, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and in the Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Astoria, Sunnyside, Ozone Park, and Floral Park neighborhoods of Queens, Khan’s Tutorial primarily serves in assisting families in low-income, new immigrant neighborhoods. Since 1994, Khan’s Tutorial has helped 2,997 students gain admission to New York City’s Specialized High Schools.
